http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Location%20bar%20autocomplete - is not working - functionality comes and goes. Tried in Tools and Options to settings, worked once then will not again...thanks

Make sure that the Location Bar is not set to "Nothing":

  • Firefox (Tools) > Options > Privacy > Location Bar: When using the location bar, suggest: History, Bookmarks, History and Bookmarks

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
