new version of Firefox keeps crashing with Google Mail

If I go to the Google Mail log in page Firefox crashes every time. No problem with Internet Explorer. Also find that latest version of Firefox has problems freezing when reopened after a crash.

Thanks Swarnava have done that and it is now OK! Hadn't realised there was Firefox 8 yet. Have found Firefox 7 not as good as previous versions so hopefully 8 will be back on course.
