Hello,

The easiest way around this may be to install Add-on Compatibility Reporter which will enable you to retain incompatible extensions and add extensions.

You can download Firefox 6.0.x here.

Make sure that you delete all the files in the current Firefox program folder before copying or extracting the files in the Firefox 6.0.2 tar.bz2 archive.

Try running this:

sudo ppa-purge ppa.ubuntu-mozilla-daily/firefox-aurora

Then go into Ubuntu Software Center, uninstall Firefox (Aurora), and reinstall it.
