Google hangouts audio/mic features are not working correctly in firefox.

When I am in Google hangouts meeting and have anotehr tab open in the browser that is playing music (Youtube), the noise is audible to my hangout meeting attendees. This was never the case until an update of two ago. I do not have this issue with Chrome browser.
