Since today, Firefox is no longer loading the previous settings. Every time I open it up, it opens as it was newly installed.

I already did the following: https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1226076 To no avail.

What changed? I didn't change anything in my computer for this to start.

Thanks for any help.

So far it keeps doing the same thing. Every time I turn the computer off and on, it resets. Have been using Firefox since V1, it saddens me to switch to another browser just for this silly thing. :-(

This has been an issue for sometime and since you brought it up, let me chime in. ETP is the issue for me. I set a site in the settings, restart the browser, and the setting is gone. I have to keep adding the site. Why is it not saved. The same issue also happens in Waterfox. Let me test what I have Firefox do when it's closed. Stay tuned...

I had to uncheck this setting for the browser to remember my ETP / Site setting. see screenshot After restarting the browser, the setting is there.

Are you running Windows home or pro? Have you tried different versions of Firefox? Can you replicate the issue under a different windows user account?
