After update to Thunderbird 91.7.0, I cannot send emails, receive error

The message could not be sent using Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.windstream.net for an unknown reason.

And, I had other Outgoing server setups and they are now gone.

Is there a bug intoduced with this update?

Chosen solution

What are the smtp settings, and what is the antivirus? You should have smtp.windstream.net on 465, SSL/TLS, normal password, User Name = email address.

Thank you for your response. My smpt setting were not changed and have always been smtp.windstream.net on 465, SSL/TLS, normal password, User Name = email address.

I'm able to send emails except the one I had trouble with, so apparently there is something in the document I'm attaching that is corrupt and causing this error.

So, you can send messages, except for ones that have attachments? Is there an error message from the server or does an error show from an app on your computer, such as antivirus? Is the attachment larger than the limit imposed by the mail provider?

Finally figured out why the email did not send. The subject was causing the problem. Apparently Big Brother is watching.

The word 'Ukraine' in the subject line was causing the problem....see attachments.

Today is 7/12/22. Two days ago I spend time restoring smtp outgoing server settings for my six email accounts.

Today Thunderbird 91.11.0 again only lists three of my outgoing smtp servers, not six.

Is there a new limit?

Where did my three other settings go?
