all of sudden, can't send.

Not really a helpful information. Please explain in detail

  • what you're doing
  • what happens
  • what you expect to happen.

Is there any error message?

I do not have a "work" account.

What does "work" account mean?

Sorry Chris!

I have many different email accounts in Thunderbird, until recently all of the accounts were working correctly. However, now I am unable to send emails from my gmail account, yet I am still able to receive emails.

I have checked 2-step authentication/OAuth/other various settings, and each time I am still unable to send emails. Is this common with gmail and are there any known solutions to this problem.

Thank you for the help! -Doug

What are your smtp settings for the gmail account? Do you connect through a VPN? Is the antivirus (name?) scanning outgoing mail?

Recommended settings: imap.gmail.com on 993 or pop.gmail.com on 995, smtp.gmail.com on 465. Security = SSL/TLS, authentication = OAuth2, User Name = email address. Cookies must be accepted in TB Preferences for OAuth2 authentication.

I'm having the same issue, I have no VPN or Antivirus on my PC.
