Old emails are keep disappearing from the Trash folder and the Archives as well. Inbox is fine. In the Synchronization and Storage section it is set to not delete any messages and same is true for the retention policy. Even tried the retention policy 'always keep starred messages and the starred messages disappeared from Trash as well... I already tried repairing the folders, didn't help.

Do you have any idea for recovering these or at least preventing them from deletion?

Thank you in advance.

Is the Trash folder on an IMAP server? The mail provider may apply a retention policy for Trash that is independent of TB. Many of them delete Trash and Spam messages older than 30 days.

In that case, you could try setting deleted messages and Archives to be stored in Local Folders.

Thank you for you reply.

Yes, the Trash is on the IMAP server.

This is a recent behavior, started 1-2 months ago, earlier there was no such problem. Now deleted messages disappear after a few days and even the emails from 'archives from 2019' are gone. I contacted my mail provider and there is no such retention policy.
