With Firefox 45.9.0, I could drag and drop a file attachment from Thunderbird to DROPBOX, WETRANSFER, GOOGLE DRIVE... (In Windows)

Now from the 5x version of firefox (tested with version 52.5.3er and 57.0.4 and Nightly) Nothing happens when I drop the attached file into a transfer area (dropbox, Wetransfer, google drive, ...)

When I drag and drop file in a new tab, I can see this error in the "console browser" : NS_ERROR_UNKNOWN_PROTOCOL : Component returned failure code: 0x804b0012 (NS_ERROR_UNKNOWN_PROTOCOL) [nsIWebNavigation.loadURIWithOptions] The uri with something like : imap://USERNAME@SERVER:143/fetch%3EUID%EID&part=1.2&filename=FILENAME

If a drag and drop the file from the file explore, it works

I have tested this with lastest version of Google Chrome ... and it's works.

I have tested with new firefox profile (clean profile) -> same behavior I have tested in firefox safe-mode -> same behavior I have tested on many computer -> same behavior

Perhaps Firefox will no longer retrieve imap: protocol addresses. If you try to open that attachment URL directly from the address bar, what happens?

when I try the url directly in the address bar I found this error in the console web. NS_ERROR_UNKNOWN_PROTOCOL : Component returned failure code: 0x804b0012 (NS_ERROR_UNKNOWN_PROTOCOL) [nsIWebNavigation.loadURIWithOptions] The uri with something like : imap://USERNAME@SERVER:143/fetch%3EUID%EID&part=1.2&filename=FILENAME

But when I try the drag and drop directly in a datafransfer I don't see error and there no result (nothting happen).
