I am 68 years old and I love Thunderbird but I have a lot of trouble reading the display. Is there any way to have ALL text/buttons/ basically all of Thunderbird use a bold font?

Thank you Wyzard

There are two, arguably three, sets of settings for your type sizes.

1. For the menus and message lists, I recommend an addon. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/theme-font-size-changer/

2. For reading the text in messages there are settings inside Thunderbird.

3. When composing your own messages, you can set the font to be used. But this is best left at the defaults, and the display settings used instead.

The most relevant part is at the end, starting from "The fonts used to display messages on your screen are set here".

I'm not sure that any of these will let you choose bold fonts as such, but I would be confident that you can find typeface and a size that will do the job.
