How to save pinned tabs from disappearing after Firefox upgrade?

On Windows 10. My 5 pinned tabs have disappeared after Firefox upgrade (& Windows 10 update). I've looked at other users' questions on this subject and the answers are too technical for many of us, including me. Surely there is a simple method to save these pinned tabs??

Hi, not sure why you've lost them, but since you only have 5, it would be easy to bookmark them as well in future - then at least you will have a backup.
