Preferences returns invalid address
Hello,
Firefox version 45.2.0
When I try to open the Preferences (about:preferences) it returns an error that the address is invalid, as can be seen on the screenshot below. When trying to edit properties via (about:config), which works, the option browser.preferences.inContent is locked and set to 'false'.
Please advise what could be done to access the Firefox preferences in this case.

Sorry, for whatever reason the screenshot didn't upload in the original message, here it is:
Excuse me for the multitude of messages, but I need to tell you that I've also tried solutions in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1065752 which I mentioned in the original message, and it did not help.
What happens if you try Firefox in its safe mode. And what happens if you use the menu to get to that:
MenuButton -> Options
Does that work ?
browser.preferences.inContent
Is an old pref that is no longer used. it isa not even listed in my about:config.

You or addons have probably been changing Firefox. Looking at the troubleshooting information list of prefs may help you figure out what has been changed use about:support
MenuButton -> Options returns the same error as on the screenshot
browser.preferences.inContent is Locked as well and set to 'False'
Really can't find anything in about:support that could've changed this.
