Hello, i'm using Firefox since version 2 and i am a fan of Firefox!

After 27.0 upgrade my Firefox hangs after 2 or 3 seconds for 0.5 seconds when scrolling on facebook. I am using 30.0 version right now on Ubuntu 14.04. Same problem on Windows too...

My computer has ATI HD 3100 GPU with AMD Phenom x4 processor. I've searched the internet and tried everything like disabling all addons aur resetting firefox, cleaing cache and history, enabling/disabling hardware acceleration etc.....but no luck :(

I've tried installing Linux and Windows(7, 8 and 8.1) again and again but same problem. I have an external card(currently not installed) GeForce 9500GT and i've tried running Firefox on that too with proper drivers installed but no luck! :(

Scrolling on other heavy websites is fine!

In my home there are other PCs with Intel GPU and scrolling is fine on them....no lag whatsoever! :(

Is this a compatibility issue? Any suggestions?

Yes! Please update your Flash player Shockwave Flash 11.2 r202 to 14. Please update your graphics WebGL driver with this help article: Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

If these do not help, please try to disable scrolling acceleration in "three bar menu" > Options > Advanced > General/Browsing

Ok, this is up to date then, and it is only for that website.

If it is all oses, it sounds like the hardware is the same on the comupter that you are testing all these OSs on? If so please see: Disable virus scan in Firefox preferences and Troubleshoot your extensions

Are you using the same profile? Could it be that the facebook links stored in the places.sqlite file are corrupt? If you do not mind losing history, try to delete that file in the profile folder and restart firefox.

I've also tried newly installed Firefox with no extensions on Linux and Windows(same hardware).

It all started when i upgraded my Firefox to 27 :(

Can i get a link of Firefox 26?

Thanks :)
