Thunderbird Calendar New Events Box font size is too small on my laptop. Is there a way to enlarge them please. If not, could you please include a setting in future updates to change the font size. I am an elderly person who's eyes are not as good as they used to be. Kind regards: Gary Shaw

TB is hung up on my late husband's computer and none of the suggestions made has released it. Current advisors are Windows people and this is an old Mac Mini running OS 10.13. One of your advisors solved a similar problem two years ago and David told me I could open that message by clicking on Robert as question originator. After click, Ask a question, a banner pops up saying my post is awaiting approval by a moderator. Why? What did I do or say that appeared so negative as to require approval first? IMO, it takes time for a Mod to mod it. Then it goes out for some people to see. It's not good for business if there is no wait time, and it a waste of time, if the problem asked, has a answer in a holding pattern, that goes in to a holding pattern again if/when the Post is permitted. Very odd..

There is a post from Mozilla which said your comments were written by a bot. The problem is that there is no access to the comments through my iPhone even though I logged in with Robert’s email and password. I apologize profusely. But there is no way that I can respond instead of creating a new subject.i’m normally reasonably capable of running a computer.I have a 4 y/o M1 mini running some version of 16.

My late husband's oid Mac Mini crashed during a power outage. Firefox is fine but TB says that the inbox is being used by another something and to wait to use it. I can't open it. I keep this computer active because his artworks and videos are on it. And I feel that he is still here if his computer is. You can also reach me at [edited email from community support forum]. I need to get in. Should I just restart? Or will it take more? I do get Robert's email on my iPhone and it is coming in.

I use Thunderbird and Firefox as my default browser. When I open a pdf file in Thunderbird, a new tab opens with the pdf document but Firefox stays in the background. I have to click on the tab to view the document. I don't remember it being like that before. Is there a way to adjust the settings in Firefox (or Thunderbird) to allow the browser to come to the front right away?

I had to turn off Norton VPN to use Thunderbird as my email client for the Comcast email service. Is there any strategy to allow Thunderbird to work through a VPN? I use the POP protocol and keep all saved messages (hundreds) on my PC, not on the email server.

Tried mail.twc.com and it just sends me back to Spectrum. I can get my mail on Spectrum but not my Thunderbird icon. Doesn't work on our iphones either.

This is absolutely insane. I set up a email account(also did about a year ago) and I can not get back to my mail. Why in gods name is it so difficult? I have multiple email accounts with most all the major email websites and this one is utterly impossible to use. I just keep ending up in the same spot with no information to help get out of the endless circle. I don't even know if I could find my way back to here. I will give you my email address to try and get something more constructive than the past two days. I want to make mozilla products my main users for all my different platforms to simplify my life but I am having my doubts about thunderbird. So far it is a useless time waster. I'm shocked that this is under the Mozilla name. I normally associate Mozilla with high quality, easy to use products. I need to talk (like on the phone) to someone who can help me in some way. I am not computer savvy so please have someone patient. Despite the fact that I have set Thunderbird to display messages as plain text, my needs are not being fully respected. If the message contains some form of markup, presumably HTML, the font size is not what I have chosen. Generally, the font size is smaller than what I have specified in the Thunderbird settings.

This is unacceptable. It is a usability / accessibility issue. If the user chooses Plain Text and sets a font size, they have done that for a reason. Which is accessibility. If Thunderbird ignores the needs of users and applies styling rules to messages, that is a failure state.

Is there some way to actually, truly, absolutely display all messages as plain text in a specified font, weight, and size? If not, what is the protocol for reaching developers so that they can respond to this issue?

some time ago I configured by thunderbird account to announce "You have mail" and it worked reliably until frontier moved email support to yahoo. Since then I get the "you have mail" announcement for a low percentage of new mail messages received. I contacted yahoo mail support and they responded that this is a problem with thunderbird and has nothing to do with yahoo. I suspect it's a matter of which process "sees" the new message first - thunderbird of yahoo mail. I've tried not having a yahoo mail window active, but that makes no difference. Most of the time now I get only a "gong" sound when a new mail message is received rather than "You have mail" voice notification.

I can setup the Calendar event, save it and see it in my Home Calendar along with the little bell icon in the top right hand corner which tells me the Calendar is aware of the notification request. I generally add a reminder for the Calendar event but just noticed that no actual reminders are being generated.

To install a Windows 10 update (I'm on extended support) I told it to update & shutdown. I fired it up this morning and Thunderbird is asking for credentials. It usually just runs & downloads emails. I enter my password, then a code from authenticator app. It shows the page below in an embedded browser window that has a checkbox and an "Agree" button. I check the box but the Agree button is still disabled. Dead end. I cannot connect & I'm stuck.
