Hi all, sorry if this has been already covered somewhere, this is my first time posting a question here.

It looks like a recent update for Firefox on my tablet (a Samsung Galaxy Tab S4) added a separate tabs bar across the top of the app? This is incredibly annoying and takes up way too much space on my screen, and I'd like to get back to the way the browser looks previously. Is this possible?

Fire fox started a download of some unknown file s half-hour before I got the notification, it hadn't downloaded yet so I tried to cancel it but it wouldn't register, it didn't say can't cancel or anything it just didn't respond so I tried to pause it and it didn't register either so I force stopped it and it went away but my concern is it has no permissions to download anything and it wouldn't even let me see what it was downloading, I checked it for updates and it wasn't an update either, what is fire fox doing any idea?

so i use ome tv on Firefox using user agent switcher EXTENSION. but when i connect to ome tv i cant flip the camera option in the down left it wont flip and it lags when connecting with other people please fix or help

If I enable bookmark sync my android Firefox bookmarks will mess up all my desktop Firefox bookmarks. Is there a way to import my backed up desktop Firefox bookmarks android Firefox? I have no idea how to fix this. Thank you.

Hello, when using a dropdown list that is connected to an external source (excel on the cloud), firefox on android does not offer us options. It works in other browsers. Ideal worked in Opera. Where is the problem with firefox?

I want to synch the bookmarks on my new Android phone to those on my old Android phone. Whenever I try to use this facility it seems to synch with my desktop, which I don't want. What am I doing wrong, please?

sorry - looks like my WiFi connection to the desktop was kicking in rather than pairing with the second phone. No need to respond to this query but I am not sure how to close it.

Firefox app on Android is using an insane amount of mobile data that I cannot account for. In the attached image, Firefox used 15GB in a 3 hour span, and I barely used the app during. The only tabs I had open were 5 news articles. I've had this unexplainable high data usage for the past few months. Other internet browsers I've used in the past only used ~3GB per month. This inexplicable data usage makes me very concerned about what Firefox is doing in the background.

Firefox cann't use microphone in my android 5.1 device. But a camera work perfectly (after confirm allow in a pop-up with asking "if you want to share your device’s camera and microphone with that site.") FireFox detect microfone as "default input device" but it doesn"t work. In a special sites that can test a work of the microphone, drop down list of the detected device (in the Firefox) contains only one item "default input device" and microphone doesn't work. In other browsers (Chrome), вesides this "default input device" that drop down also contains other items and microphone work perfectly I need to use microphone in Firefox for web version of a messenger that doesn't support in ohter browsers and apk on this android device

I want to save my settings in DuckDuckGo's Search Engine, which I think means saving the cookie and site data for it, when I quit the Firefox Android app.

i dont know if anyone else is having this problem but when using firefox on android the back button gets greyed out and i cant go back it happens randomly and it gets annoying. I hope they find the cause of it and fix it.

I'd like to use the History more fully. As it is now, it's impossible to view the full URL for most sites I visit or the time it was visited. FF's Desktop version has a wonderful History. I'd like to see something similar for my phone. Is that possible?

I have an Android S21, and S25. I want to backup tabs, browser history, cache, and cookies to the new S25. I cannot find any way to do that aside from Firefox sync which is NOT what I want.

Does anyone have a good solution? I need to send the S21 back to my cell provider soon

The instructions are to go to Settings in Firefox on the phone and click on Sync and Save Data to scan a QR code on the desktop, but that option is not shown on my phone.

Multiple times a day when switching tabs the entire screen will turn gray and become entirely unresponsive, requiring me to close and restart the app. This has been happening for weeks. It does this regardless of the number of tabs I have open, and continues to do this even after clearing the cache. There is also no report for it in about:crashes.

When the app is going to turn fully grey when opening a new tab when I scroll down and the address bar moves away there is a gray box where it used to be. Also, when opening a new tab the homepage won't appear; there is no "jump back in" or "recently visited" section, just a fully gray background.

I can't reproduce it, but sometimes the URL bar becomes unresponsive. You click on it and nothing appens. I've tried to delete cache and history, but nothing changes.
