Hello there,

I realized that quite often when I restart Firefox (Developper Edition) and restore my previous session (latest occurence with 46 tabs), the window becomes invisible. It still exists, and I can even see it in the Window menu list pointing to my latest tab but it's nowhere on screen. I can add/navigate through/select/remove tabs using the keyboard, I can see them listed on screen when I Ctrl-Tab but the whole window remains invisible.

It'd be great if someone could help me out.

Firefox with MAC OS 11.7.11 no longer works with SURFSHARK, TRANSMISSION OR FOLX I have reinstalled those applications I can start with my VPN (SURFSHARK) but as soon as I access a bit torrent, Firefox no longer functions.

Hello:FF dev 156.0b3 sept 2026. w11p. Is there a simple way to reduce the number of items/cut back the list of items appearing in the context menu (R mouse button)? A 6-yr-old post on reddit says to use userchrome.css. This advice may no longer work? And the instructions seem a little confusing to me. Thank you.

It seems to be related to video playback but not sure. It was happening while a video was playing full screen, and also after stopping playing/hiding a non-full-screen video.

To catch the issue had to screen record at 240fps. I used Nvidia Overlay to record the issue, but was happening before the overlay was even enabled.

Disabled all addons, made no difference. HW acceleration on or off, still happened.

I am using Firefox Developer Edition version 154.0b5 (latest according to settings) and when I try double clicking or use ctrl + A, the url won't be selected (or parts of it if I try something selecting something specific). Double clicking doesn't work at all.

Is this a bug?

I have vertical tabs enabled and the "expand when hovering mouse" option is activated (see screenshot). However, the latter functionality tends to glitch at some point in basically every session. I can't tell if a specific action triggers it, so far it seems pretty random. The glitch is that either the tabs are expanded and won't collapse, or the opposite: they're collapsed and refuse to expand when I point at them. Is this feature maybe still experimental? or something? I'm running Firefox 149.0b5 DEveloper Edition on Garuda Linux (Arch based).

Settings/Privacy and Security/Enhanced tracking selections/Advanced settings/Manage exceptions is not functioning properly. Every site that I have saved as an exception initially fails to do two things when the site is loaded. First, the site blocks content as if it is not an exception, and then it refuses to completely load the page. This requires me me to X-force the page to finish loading, and then I have to refresh the page by loading it a second time before the exception operates properly. This behavior is precisely the same on every exception website I have entered. Definitely some bugs at work here.

The latest update for the beta version 153.0b1 of 6/16/26 has made my theme stop working although it still says enabled. The theme is: ANIMATED Sakura by candelora 🌸 Theme Designed by candelora © 🌸 Animated Apng Theme I'm using Windows 11 on a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex with Firefox as my default browser. I'm an old lady, not tech-enabled in any way. Please help and thanks.

I installed Firefox Developer Edition and I am having the following issues, whenever I go to Indeed and I go to a job posting the browser opens up additional tabs without my permission or me doing so. Also the browser does the same in Canvas when I go to my course the browser automatically opens up new tabs without my permission and also me doing so. The Firefox Developer Edition browser update is Firefox Developer Edition is up to date 152.0b7 (64 bit). The following extensions are installed AdBlocker Ultimate, FoxyProxy Basic, Ghostery AdBlocker For Privacy, Malwarebytes Browser Guard, Privacy Badger, and UBlock Origin. This behavior got super annoying and I don't know how to fix it. Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated. My operating system is Windows 11.

I'm a beta update channel user, so this may not reflect what 'normal' users are seeing. I use Firefox in Linux, debian v13, so normal people that are using Windows or MacOS also might not see the changes I'm asking about? -- I have no way of knowing.

Anyway: in FF v152.0b6, the "Connection Settings" area seems to have disappeared entirely from the settings menu. I used this area of the settings frequently.

The ability to set proxy still exists in the about:config settings area. In the future, will about:config be the standard place to go for people that want to manually set (or toggle) an http/https proxy?

Hi whenever I use my Google account to sign into websites (Google, ebay, YouTube, & anyother sites,) Firefox will become unresponsive, the window containing the tab i was using becomes unresponsive, sort of. - I can't click any open Firefox Tabs, - the red 'Close' radio button is greyed-out, so I can't close any tabs or the window - right-click is unresponsive, so i can't close tabs that way, but Command-W closes the tabs normally, but the others are still unresponsive.

- i can open a new Firefox window (with &/or without Tabs,) which works normally.

- & unrelated, but earlier, Firefox was running really slowly, Youtube videos were slowed down, but audio was normal, and scrolling was slow.

All my Tabs Group have disappeared from the Tab Bar. I can see the Closed Tab Groups in the drop down but i can't find a way to re-open Closed Tab Groups. Any clues welcome. Running 146.0 and on the beta update channel.

Сегодня 23.04.2026, я открываю браузер и вижу, что моя строка и ярлыки находятся сверху, а не в центре(1 скриншот). Вчера 22.04.2026 все было хорошо, я покажу на 2 скрине как это должно выглядеть. Хочу заметить что у меня включена функция Handoff и она мне удобна, но мне неприятно видеть блок с ярлыками и строкой не по центру. Я использую тему ffultima, скажу еще раз, вчера все было нормально. So, forgive me, I'm a little frustrated right now, but I needed to move an Open Tab to it's own window, without the use of my mouse (yes, it's having issues right now), but: I used to do this by tabbing to the TAB in question and pressing <Shift> F10, which opened a context menu with a Move To sub-menu. Now the menu didn't have that option. see pic below. ...Yes, I was able to do the same via, File | New Window, and coping the address to it with Windows cut/paste and <Alt><Tab>. Still I would like to know how to get to the TAB context menu option without the mouse.

A couple of days ago I noticed that Firefox had started using "Profiles". I do not want a profile. When I wanted to open firefox a window popped up asking me to pick a profile. I deleted my account. Now Firefox will not let me use it because I don't have a "Profile". If I cannot use firefox without a profile, which I never had to do for umpteen years, then I well switch to Chrome.
