Flash video not working, despite all the previous solutions

On some sites the embedded flash video's are not working properly. Strangely enough, youtube is working fine.

I have browsed the forum and have tried the following solutions, none of which seem to work:

- Disable Realplayer (not installed on my computer) - Downgrade to flash 11.2 - Upgrade to Firefox 14

What does work, is to run Firefox in safe mode. This implies that one of my extensions/add-ons is giving me a hard time. The safe mode shuts down all my add-ons, and obviously that is not what I want. So I went to my add-on list and disabled them one by one, trying to figure out which one's the troublemaker. Strangely enough, even when I disable all of them manually, the problem isn't resolved. So in some way the safe mode shuts down more than I can do manually. Does anybody have any idea how I can figure out what causes the problem?

Hardware Acceleration is also disabled in SafeMode.

Try disabling Hardware Acceleration .

I forgot to mention that I also tried to disable the 'hardware accelleration' in the settings of the player. Again, this did not have the desired result.

Ah, that worked! As I said, I disabled the hardware acceleration in the player itself, but not in the settings of FF. Thanks for the help!
