Hi,

There are two add-ons you can use with Firefox Mobile to clear your history (Cleary and Clear Mobile History).

If you tap the menu button on your device and select add-ons, you can search for and install either add-on. Then, go to Preferences from the menu and scroll down to see the Clear History button.

Here is an article with step-by-step and screenshots for tablets (the steps are the same for a mobile phone, except that the menu button you'll use is the one on your phone).

Hi jtd43!

Welcome to the Firefox Forums!

To clear your browser history, simple press CTRL + SHIFT+ DEL on your keyboard.

EDIT: I didn't see that you were running Android. Is this running on a tablet or a Android OS enabled smartphone?

problem solved with a combination of solution a and solution b. I thought that the add-ons had not installed correctly until recognised that the preferences page had hidden content which could be accessed by scrolling it up. The asus transformer prime does not have a <delete> button on the keypad. Thank you both
