Can I access previous downloads on firefox after the downloads box has been cleared? I had to reinstall windows and I lost a file I had downloaded using firefox. I really need it so is there a way to access previous download history. Thanks

If you clear that list in the Download Manager then the files should still be on your hard drive if they were there before (Open and Open Containing Folder in the right-click context menu were not grayed).

If you saved all files to the same folder then see:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > General : Downloads
