Unfortunately Sync is not a back up service. It uses a central server to synchronize data between devices but this data is not maintained if it's not maintained locally (i.e. in your computer).

That said, sometimes if the reconfiguration is fast the data can still be in the server.

That said, sometimes if the reconfiguration is fast the data can still be in the server.
