I have been getting 'message blocked due to spam content' errors trying to send messages for the last two months on messages as short as three words. Not all but over half of them.

This is a message from your email provider, relayed to you but not generated by Thunderbird. It indicates that they are blocking your address for some reason. You will have to contact them to find out what that reason is and to ask them to unblock you.

In the meantime, confirm that your server settings are correct. The proper settings should be available on your provider's web site.
