I have internet connection with yahoo, but when I go to yahoo mail I loose internet connection.

I go to yahoo and have internet connection. When I go to yahoo mail and click on an email a box comes up saying "No Internet connection". I can go back to yahoo's home page and everything works fine. I tried Safari to see if I had the same problem and if it was yahoo mail. Safari worked fine. Why is Firefox not connecting to the Internet in Yahoo mail?
