Re-enter password every time after restart or close
Thunderbird won`t respond unless password entered after restart or close every time. Never did before.
Solution eye oponami
There should be a checkbox that says "Use Password Manager to remember this password" when you are asked for your email password. Make sure that its ticked so Thunderbird remembers that password. You may have to do this twice, once for receiving and again for sending.

Are you being asked for a "Primary Password" or a "Enter your password for (your email address)"? If you're not sure, can you attach a screenshot of the window that asks for the password?
E-mail to get messages from comcast. When sending also happens.
