Hi Michael
If your using the clone phone app from oneplus. They state in their about app section what can & can't be backed up / migrated. They explicitly exclude app data backup and offer migration for only certain apps.

◆ Data migration With Clone Phone, you can easily migrate your data from Android devices to OnePlus phones without a network connection. (Transfers from iOS devices may require a data connection.) What you can migrate: contacts, SMS, call history, calendar, photos, videos, audio, apps (including the data of certain apps).
◆ Data backup The data backup function can backup your data safely for restoring when required. What you can backup: contacts, SMS, call history, notes, desktop layouts, apps (excluding data).
Most android applications (TB & K9 included) store their data within their own sandbox on secure internal storage. Andoid blocks other apps accessing this data by design on non rooted phones.
If TB-A on your Samsung phone used the imap protocol to connect with your mail server, your emails will be stored on your providers server and will download again to Thunderbird for Android once installed on your oneplus phone.
You can export your account settings on your samsung phone and use this to setup the account on your one plus. Note that emails are not included in the export/restore.
Samsung Device:
- Navigate to settings > export. Save the configuration file and transfer it over to your oneplus.
Onplus Device:
- Navigate to settings > import. Browse and select the previously transfered configuration file.
Note: If you used the pop3 protocol on your samsung device, your emails are stored locally on the phone. There's no way to backup or export them, unless your Samsung is already a rooted phone.
