After moving my Thunderbird profile to a new computer none of my accounts can authenticate
Hello,
After moving my Thunderbird profile to a new computer none of my accounts can authenticate. I followed the instructions here: Move Thunderbird data to a new computer, using "An alternative method for manual transfer between Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers." What explains the response in the attached image, "Something went wrong," and how can I fix it? Happens when I click "Next", the first step to log it.
I have a related problem with other accounts set up in the profile. This one is using Oauth2. I tried switching to password, and hand a similar problem. I tested the connection to the server in Settings for the account and it was successful. Same for the others. They all authenticate successfully on my old computer.
Thanks...

I installed a different version of Thunderbird, 140.11.0 esr, and repeated the steps I described in the question I posted and it works. I don't have the authentication issue I was having. The version I had installed earlier was 151.0. The version on my old computer is 140.10.2 esr. I was hoping to use a more frequently updated version of Thunderbird. But I'm happy to have any version working at this point.
For the record the old computer OS was Windows 10 Pro, version 22H2, OS build 19045.6466. The new computer OS is Windows 11 Pro, version 25H2, OS build 26200.8457.

Sorry, here's the screenshot
Is the old computer still available? If so, please try these steps:
- ensure thunderbird is NOT running on old machine
- enter %appdata% in search window on task bar and press Enter key
- this should open windows file explorer in Appdata\roaming folder
- highlight the Thunderbird folder and copy to external media
- ensure thunderbird is installed on second computer, started once and NOT running
- enter %appdata% in search window on task bar and press Enter key
- you should be in Appdata\roaming folder. DELETE the thunderbird folder there
- now , paste your copied thunderbird folder there.
# start thunderbird and all should be there
