I have 2 laptops, one for work and one personally. I was looking to set-up firefox on my personal laptop as well but noticed I cannot open developer console on a specific element by pressing 'q' anymore after right clicking.

This is a significant feature and I would like to keep using it. Is it possible to enable this feature on my personal computer as well? Since it is still enabled on my work device.

Does it still show "Inspect (Q)" in the right-click context menu? Are you using the same Firefox locale on both devices?

Yesterday when I tried it only showed "Inspect" without the Q in there. When I tried it today I did see the "Inspect (Q)" instead of just "Inspect". I am unsure what changed this but I did yesterday change my language from 'Nederlands (BE)' to 'English (CA)' which might have had an impact.
