Anchor Icon When I Paste In To Thunder Bird?

Sometimes, when I compose a message in MS Word and paste it in to TBird, I see these little anchor icons. Sometimes I can backspace them away, but this one in my S shot I can't.

How do I get rid of those??

Word (and other wordprocessing software) includes extra hidden characters for proper document layout within Word. That hidden content can corrupt or malform emails when pasted in. I suggest you try Paste-without-formatting to see if that addresses your concern.

Sounds good David. Strange but the Sent email didn't have that anchor icon so that's good.
