Junk mail filter doesn't follow "white list"

I add addresses for websites I regularly receive mail from to my collected address book, but those emails are continually marked X-IMAIL-SPAM-URL X-IMAIL-SPAM-DNSBL. How do I get this to stop?

Are those messages marked as spam by the mail provider's filters before they reach TB? TB marks as 'junk', and the whitelist address books are set in Account Settings/Junk Settings.

It might help to whitelist by adding senders to the webmail contacts instead.
