Copy-pasting images from email content into Word document doesn't work

I tried copy-pasting an image from inside an email into Word but that doesn't work strangely... I tried it by reopening the email as a reply to select the image, but that too doesn't work like it does in Outlook. Upon pasting, nothing gets inserted, not in Word, nor in any other program. It however DOES past the image inside another Thunderbird email...

I assume this is a bug that needs fixing ?

Right click the image and select copy image. Now paste it.
