Why would I want a "refresh", or an update, for that matter. I liked it the way it was.

I realize those that write the code have to justify their existence, but, having to learn a new look and feel each time, "whoever", decides "this might be better", really sucks! What if someone, every so often, broke into your car and rearranged the layout of the controls. You'd have to learn how to drive all over again. FOR NO GOOD REASON!

I just got rid of 57.0.4 and re-installed an earlier version that LOOKS, AND FEELS THE WAY I WANT IT...

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

To make sure you do not update, Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar. Under Advanced, Select Update.

[v56+] Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Select Update.

Select Never Check For Updates.

Also turn off Use a background service to install updates <Windows Only>
