Hi, i gott problem with synhronization on Thunderbird. I got IMAP configuration, so everything what i will do on your aplication (for example delete mails) should be done on my email account. ANd here is problem. When i delete mails from sent box, my mails are not removing from my mail server. If i delete it, thunderbird is downloading it again. There is a problem becouse i got limited capacity of downloading mails. The limitation is 1GB and i got 1k mails in sent box. So every 1k mails deleted from that box results 1k mails received again and again. After every operation my mail box is blocked for 24h. There is just a problem with sent box. I hope you understand my poor english. Thanks for repl;y

That is a small mailbox! :-(

I think I would try to get as much material off the server and stored locally. You can set Thunderbird to use Local Folders for your Sent, Archives and Trash folders. Look under Account Settings|Server Settings for Trash, and Account Settings|Copies & Folders for other folders.

None of this addresses the strange behaviour of your deleted messages coming back to be a nuisance to you.
