My Toshiba Laptop crashed and when it repaired I was not able to access Mozilla Firefox e mail. I get an error box with the message "Couldnt load XPCOM". I am unable to remove Mozilla Firefox to reload. I can access my email thru AT&T Yahoo.

As a test, disable Avast for a bit. Also, open Avast options an tell it to leave the browsers alone.
