I can't import bookmarks from Safari 5.1.10 to Firefox 36.0.4 . I don't see "Library" or "Bookmarks Manager" or anything (I think I saw an import function in an earlier version of Firefox) that is often referred to online. I have a white iMac running Snow Leopard (10.6.8)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

When you install firefox for the first time, you should automatically be shown an import dialog. If you have already installed firefox, follow these instructions:

1. go to the bookmarks menu and choose "show all bookmarks" (this gives you the library) 2. in the row of icons at the top, choose the button that has a star with a sync icon inside of it (fifth from the left) 3. Choose "import data from another browser" 4. choose "safari" 5. Choose which information you would like to import (you can also import your history and preferences)

Thanks lot! It was "in the row of icons at the top, choose the button that has a star with a sync icon inside of it (fifth from the left)" that got me there.
