Hi c172, have you tried to reset firefox ? This is usually used for correcting frequent issues like slowness ?

I know there is 31.0 an update is NOT what I asked about, Why would I want to do another update if the update 30.0 didnt work correct?!? I specifictly asked what could be making 30.0 run slow. Because firefox worked great until I did the 30.0. Answer was of NO HELP!

so you are saying that you updated, it was slow for a bit and then it got fast again?

Please update to 31 and see if that happens again (30 is not safe anymore).

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
