I am using Firefox 115.44 OESR (64bit) on my Windows 7 PC.And, by the way, there have been no add ons added or changes to Firefox recently. OK so, I have my passwords saved using a Primary password so, whenever I open Firefox anew and go to a website, the "Enter Primary Password" box pops up and I enter it and my sign in and password is entered into the sign in boxes on the websites.
But today it did NOT so I went to "Settings" and to my "Saved logins" and the window was blank with a banner up top asking me to enter my primary password. But the clickable button (I think it said: "login") was as if it was frozen and it would not advance me to the "Primary Password" sign in window. After 20 minutes of Googling the matter where the AI was offering me EXTREME methods to try to solve my problem, I went to my "Print Screen" software to create a print screen to show the AI exactly what I meant and, when I went back to the browser page, BOOM! The Primary password "sign in" box popped up and I was able to enter my primary password and, I got my passwords back. WHAT?! Google said it was because this "freeze" lost focus when I clicked somewhere outside of the browser and also said: "Now, don't (ever???) close your browser again or this may happen again" but, that is pretty unreasonable. Can anyone here tell me how to prevent this from happening again? First time EVER that this happened. Thanks, Annette Also, I never even got to print that Print Screen otherwise I would have entered it here. Anyhow...
