Firefox crashes

I down loaded the newest version of Flashplayer and now I cannot access anything - it crashes everytime. I cannot play games on facebook , can't watch videos on youtube I reinstalled, I shut firefox, I reset firefox, I have shut down and restarted the computer nothing seems to help I checked the status of my plug ins - all current tried to restart firefox in safe mode and it still crashes when I try anything requiring flashplayer

Hello wendyw, the new Flashplayer (13.0.0.182) on mac is the problem indeed, Adobe is promoting a downgrade to Flash 12, see analytical info in John99's reply , see also why Adobe is promoting a downgrade to Flash 12 instead of the more secure Flash 11.7 ESR on MAC with SAFARI in AliceWyman's post.
