how do i eliminat tabs completely?
I hate tabs. i want a new window to open everytime in place of a tab. is this possible? if so how do I do it?

Firefox usually will try to open some internal pages like about:addons in a new tab, so I'm not sure if you can avoid new tabs in all cases.
You can hold down the Shift key to force to open a link in a new window.
