How do I determine whether I am running on a 64-bit version of Firefox or a 32-bit version of Firefox? I only need a solution for this question so I can continue and finish updating my out-of-date plug-ins.

If you type "about:buildconfig" in the address bar of Firefox, I think you should get that information.

There are no 64-bit versions of Firefox for Windows. The 64-bit versions have been Minefield and Nightly tester builds, never labeled as Firefox.
