firefox doesntremember app settings and keeps asking me what to do with zip files everytime
me app settings for zip and rar files is to always open them after download. despite these settings, every time i download a zip or rar file, the "what to do" window appears.

Firefox doesn't use the file extension to determine the action for downloads, it uses the MIME-type. If the MIME-type is incorrect or missing, Firefox defaults to asking the user.
hey, thanks for the quick replay, but im not that stupid :) my settings is set to open zip files with winzip, and i checked the "do this automatically". it doesnt work. thats the prob...
