I am being told that my Firefox browser is still transmitting the 'Do not track' signal

I am not being allowed to access some websites because of my 'Do Not Track' status still being broadcast. I had the field set to 'Yes' when the field was removed. I am not allowed onto these other sites because of my 'Do Not Track' status. How can I fix this ? I was planning on using Firefox when I go to Apple silicon later this year - but not if I keep running into problems before I switch.

Current Firefox versions no longer send "Do Not Track" preference, no matter the settings.

Maybe the sites' operators confuse that with Global Privacy Controls "Do Not Sell" opt–out signal? Learn more how you can configure that:

It should clear when I go to Apple silicon, right ?

No.

It's either a confused site (or their partner), or a site operator willingly nagging users to withdraw their opt-outs, so they can be collecting and selling data about them. It's usually made so obnoxious so users rather disable that opt-out signal.

Could you show an example site and perhaps attach a screenshot with the exact state and wording you're getting shown?
