If you are not getting any new Firefox package updates from your distro then your version of Linux distro is likely EOL in software package updates. So you then need to either update to a currently supported version of your Linux distro to get Firefox updates this way. However you can use the Firefox Linux tarballs from Mozilla as you just need to make sure the Firefox folder has read/write permissions for the use to get internal Firefox updates from Mozilla much like with Firefox on macOS and Windows.
