Hi, I was using Thunderbird on my old computer when its processor died. I got a new computer and installed Thunderbird but didn't have my old sorted folders and address book. The old Thunderbird is on my old hard drive, which is in my new computer as a secondary. I tried opening that version but it just gives me a blank "set up new account" window instead of my old workscreen. My computer won't let me boot from that drive. i used file explorer to look through Thunderbird but couldn't see any files containing the info I wanted. Since I can't open the old version I can't create a backup file for the new one. Is there anything I can do?

The information in the following article may help you figure how to solve the problem. Basically, you just need to figure where the old profile folder is on the old disk and copy it to the right location on the new disk:

EDIT: Same that frisée suggested, just linked a different related article.
