Font size of mail list in inbox and other folders
The listing of my inbox and other mail folders changed so that the type face is smaller and the rows are further apart. I went to the controls that permit increasing and decreasing mail listing font sizes. It shows the font size to be 7. Pressing the increase and decrease buttons has no effect. Pressing the density buttons has some effect, but the rows are still too far apart.
I found the tip sheet that recognizes there can be a such a problem. I entered the suggested commands in the config editor. No button appeared to revert to the standard configuration for the text size and density.

What exactly did you do? It sounds like you have not fixed whatever it was the "tip sheet" was designed to fix.

1. The font size of the listing became quite small. The space between lines in the listing became quite large. 2. The support note recommends two commands. I entered each of them, as suggested, and nothing changed.
I am not sure how else to answer your question. The undesired formatting continues. Best, Boitel
Could you please do the following?
- Open the menu
> Help > Troubleshooting Information, then click Copy text to Clipboard.
- Go to https://pastebin.mozilla.org/, paste the clipboard by right clicking in the large text area, select paste from the menu, change the retention period to expire in 28 days, use the Paste Snippet button to create a page containing your info, then copy the resulting URL (address) of the page created.
- Open a reply to this post, and paste the URL to your troubleshooting information you just copied.
- Please also provide results for the following test on your system
- Does Thunderbird work as expected in Thunderbird troubleshooting mode?
- Does Thunderbird work as expected with your OS started in safe mode with Networking. Instructions for each operating system: Windows 10/11, Windows 8, Windows 7, OSX
