Dashlane Support for new Android version

more options

Since Firefox has taken it apon itself to update my Android browser to the latest version, it has removed my password manager add-on (Dashlane). Now making it an pain to access my various accounts. How can I add Dashlane support or roll back to the previous version?

I really wish when major changes are made you were given an option to accept the update, particuarly if add-ons currently installed will not be supported. I'd rather not change to another browser, I have used Firefox for years now and like the privacy add-ons and control. However auto password entry is important due to the rediculously long and complicated passwords generated and used for security.

Hi

We are working on adding support for more add-ons in future updates. In the meantime, you may wish to use the standalone Dashlane password manager app on your Android device.

I already use the Dashlane app, however it does not auto fill passwords, login details or payment details in the browser. So I have to start switching between apps and copy and pasting this over.

This is a massive step backwards, there was perfectly good support for this. The update has been pushed through with no forethought to the end users and existing security solutions. Add on support should have been ensured before roll out.
