My Browser is set to English and I am logged in using the same account as always but Firefox is constantly displaying everything in Spanish regardless of the fact that English is the only language listed in my language settings. The dashboard is always in Spanish even after removing and re-adding English. Settings and features switch to English after re-adding the language but the dashboard remains in Spanish no matter what I do. Please help!

This can be a problem with the startup caches.

Try to start Firefox once with the -purgecaches command line switch to refresh the startup caches. Make sure that Firefox is closed via "Firefox -> Quit Firefox".

Just to follow up,

I'm really sick of having to do this and seriously contemplating ditching this browser entirely.

Also, the fact that just having Firefox open raises the temperature of the laptop by about 20 - 30 degrees is very, very concerning.

I don't want my browser in Spanish. I don't want to reinstall it constantly and do the steps in that tutorial above. That's not practical. I also don't want to risk burning out the internal components of my $1,400 ASUS ROG just because Firefox is sketchy.

Chrome never raised my CPU and temperature. Why is Firefox so taxing on the system? I don't understand.

I can literally play games at high resolution and have Netflix running in the background with no issues but if I open Firefox, the fan kicks into crisis mode. This is deeply disturbing.
