Hello. I am a Firefox user with adblocker add-ons (like ublock, adguard... etc). And I am currently experiencing biig latency in using the Firefox at 240hz. Look at this video : ( https://youtu.be/DmoWkOdaTXk )

This video tested in korean web pages for best expereince. Of course, mozilla/google/yahoo... those sites also shown me same symptom.

When i using 120/144hz monitor settings, firefox looks normal. but with 240hz monitor setting have some delay with page loading. and! If i have removed the adblockers, it will work normally. (only in 240hz, 120/144hz have not problem with adblockers)

This symptom is the same in Microsoft Edge like in Firefox, and is not seen only in Chrome. and Adblockers have the same symptoms regardless of the type. For example, ublock, adguard, and adblock all have the same symptoms.

Where can i config / fix the symptom in this way? without change the monitor refresh rate.

My system 1 : Windows 10 Pro (x64) 1903 (18362.113) Ryzen R7 2700x 16GB Memory (3466CL14) RADEON VII WD SN750 1TB Dell aw2518hf

My system 2 : Windows 10 Pro (x64) 1903 (18362.113) Intel i5 9400F 16GB Memory (3200CL14) RADEON VII WD SN750 1TB Asus xg248q

Are these monitors really 240Hz or is this done internally and only 120Hz or 60Hz is really passed over? Passing data in a 240HZ rate to a big screen monitor (4K or larger) requires a lot of processing.

AFAIK there is no thing as 240 monitors. If so then I would say the problem would be more related to your GPU having display issues when up-scaling the site. Also using to many adblockers types will cause more loading issues then it helps.

Yet they have been available for 2+ years now.

Maybe you are thinking of Tv's not really being more than 60hz. However Nvidia has some gaming Tv's coming but that is something else. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/big-format-gaming-displays/

Maybe you could file a report in the general issues tracker https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ to get some attention on this.

Did find a couple bugs mentioning 240hz in comments but they were unrelated.

I am using two GPUs, AMD R9 290 / AMD Radeon vii.

I think the problem is not with the GPU because the same symptoms on there.

Recently, a lot of 240Hz panels are coming out for the gaming TN monitor series.

Native 240hz Monitor has been on the market in recent. I am using Dell aw2518hf and Asus xg248q. and Both monitors also support Native 240hz.

FHD 240hz is currently supported for Display port 1.2, HDMI 2.0 or higher. And I'm using R7 2700x, RADEON VII now, so it's not a resource shortage issue.

This issue also occurs in Microsoft Edge, but it not appear in Chrome!
