Why does saving a bookmark show a preview of the site I'm looking at?
This is kind of nonsensical... I'm on a site, looking at it, I click the star icon at the top to save the bookmark, and there's this mess of an editor box that's a small preview of the site I'm already looking at. What a waste of space, and visual dissonance.
Can we just get a normal bookmark save box? There's no reason for a preview when I'm already looking at the site, and I don't want a preview anyway, it's fine. Please Mozilla stop with these nonsensical unnecessary gimmick updates.

That is a new feature that came in Firefox 63; I agree that it is a foolish waste of space. It can be hidden via userChrome.css.
Then to hide the page image in the "Edit This Bookmark" dialog wimdow, see this "Solution": https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1232360#answer-1150300
Also, by selecting "Show editor when saving" you can stop that dialog box from appearing when saving a new bookmark.
