Was dealing with T Rowe Price personnel re: new firefox download and was directed to attempt down load via their provided link. I had already explained that a previous effort on my part had suggested the new firefox (62.0.2) was for Mac OS 10.9 (or higher) and that my OS 10.6.8 was likely a "no-no". After some arm twisting I did the download. The resulting firefox icon (associated with the dmg) is overlaid with the international circle/slash that suggests it is not to be used. Am I correct that this is what this odd icon is intended to convey?

Thanks in advance. Rob Walter

Firefox support has ended for Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-osx

Firefox 48.0.2 Release and 45.9.0 ESR were the last to still run on the old OSX 10.6, 10.7, 10.8. The 45.9.0 ESR is actually much more up to date with security fixes compared to 48.0.2.
