When I use firefox it slows down every 10 seconds and my mouse turns into an hourglass. I have tried closing and restarting firefox. One of the plugins is causing this problem. Any profiler that will figure out which plugin is consuming Firefox resources?

I assume that you are talking about extensions.

Did you try to start Firefox in Safe Mode?

This can also indicate a problem with saving session data in sessionstore.jsonlz4. You can try to increase this pref about:config page.

  • browser.sessionstore.interval

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
