OS X Time Machine locks when V42.0 is running.
OS X 10.10.5 - opening Time Machine to recover a file but the opening screen freezes if Firefox V42.0 is running. Recovery is cmd-alt-esc. Is it an Apple or Firefox problem?

Not sure, check your Activity monitor or creash reports in your Mac Settings. It can pinpoint the name of the program that either crashed or a reason. It may need trial and error.
Nothing shows up. Temporary solution is to stop Firefox whenever I want to restore a file from Time Machine.
